I wanted to do another classic style pinup-drawing, so I decided to create something which could be from the glamourous Hollywood's 1940's, but still be modern. You tell me if I manage that...
Hope you all like it.
Original size: 55x75cm (22x30") Technique: charcoal and pencils Time: 30 hours
I'm pretty sure you managed it. ^__^ the high waisted shorts own and the hair style is very Monroe. The wrist length gloves remind me of Breakfast at Tiffany's. lol. And of course, the nifity little thing holding her cig. ^_^ Kudos. You so pulled off the style of this time period!!! And the picture is AMAZING!! I would kill for that kind of talent.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Said Hamlet to Ophelia,
I'll draw a sketch of thee,
What kind of pencil shall I use?
2B or not 2B?
